New Site

Today we are pleased to present you with an early version of our new website, developed on the modern and high-performance Next.js framework.

The design (not development) of the new site began almost immediately after the launch of Season 2 - that is, almost three years ago. We hope that you will really like what awaits you ahead 😄.

We focused on thinking through the architecture, since the site itself is not just a showcase, but a full-fledged web application that will be closely connected not only to your favorite game, but also to your activity on the platform, interaction with the community and receiving various awards.

Now the site may seem "raw" in places and a little lifeless - this is normal. This is due to the fact that the main attention was focused on the internal part - a reliable, fast and scalable backend. But soon we will focus on the frontend, so that the site pleases you not only with its speed, but also with a modern, convenient and visually pleasing interface. So the site will be constantly improved, and every year your interaction with it will only get better, with many convenient functions and interactive elements.

(Not yet relevant) At the current stage, we have completed only the main functions that were available on the old site, such as: Store, Balance, Rating, Wiki and other important sections. All this is already working, and you can fully use the new site instead of the old one.

Upcoming Updates

As we have already said, we are not just making a website, but a full-fledged web application that will be tightly integrated with the account, the game and your activity. Here are the key features that are still in development and will appear in the near future:

Profile — This is where your profile description, awards, game statistics and achievements will be displayed. You will also be able to customize your profile by adding an avatar that will be displayed in the chat or on the forum, as well as put your own banner. The profile and your statistics will be available for viewing by all other users of the platform.
Characters — A place to display your game characters. What equipment they are wearing, what characteristics your character has, and so on. Your characters will be available for viewing by other users of the platform, but with the ability to hide from viewing in the profile settings.
My ranking — Ability to track your changes in weekly and permanent rankings. Track your progress conveniently!
Achievements — Being an active user of our platform, as well as performing various activities in the game, you will receive your own rare achievements or even awards that you can brag about to your friends in your profile! 😏
Rewards Center — A section where you can complete seasonal tasks and receive permanent valuable rewards. Almost all rewards are given as a thank you for supporting the project and participating in its development.
Inventory — A place to store decorative items (and more) received in the "Awards Center": emblems, costumes, capes, lootpets, avatars, banners and other awards that can express your uniqueness and your valuable contribution to the development of the project.
Media Center — Advertise your game online on any available platforms and receive real payouts for active referrals (Available only for partners. Want to become a partner? Write to us).
Standard Referral — Invite friends to the game through your personal referral link and receive game bonuses for each active friend.
Forum — A modern space for community communication, discussion of game moments, search for allies, trade offers and viewing media content.
Support — Next level support. Simply create a ticket and get a quick response right in the same window or get a notification when an operator answers.
Battle Pass — Seasonal Battle Pass with interesting and useful rewards, which will always be thematically connected to new seasons.

And this is only a small part of what awaits you in the near future!

We ask you to report any bugs you find to us in Support. For timely reports of bugs, especially those that may affect the game economy, you will receive a reward. An Early Look at Season 4

Well, now a little about the main thing.

📅 Season 4 Date: The start of the new season is currently planned for July / August (most likely August), but there are no exact dates yet - we cannot guarantee that such a volume of work will be completed without critical bugs. And releasing in a raw form is definitely not our way. Before the release, we will have a testing stage, but even this should be approached with already fixed gross and potentially dangerous bugs.

As we’ve said before, development — especially on the Aurora Engine (Rappelz engine) — isn’t the smoothest journey. It’s more like the 7 circles of hell: develop → test → catch bugs → fix → test again → fix again — and all this in a circle. In fact, this is why many other projects either give up at the development stage or are released in a raw, buggy form. Because completely cleaning out all the bugs in the test environment is an almost impossible task. And deep testing can take another 3-6 months. These are timeframes that hardly anyone is ready to endure.

So there really is hell's kitchen lurking behind the curtain this season... but we're almost done cooking there 🔥😄

Yes, Season 4 has taken longer than we expected to be developed. And unfortunately, even with all our efforts, we won't be able to implement absolutely everything that was planned. We did consider a full rework of the entire game, but that idea will have to be put on hold for now. We may return to that idea in Season 5, as it's still an important amount of work that needs to be done because it needs to stabilize a lot of aspects of the game.

However, there are still many changes and interesting innovations ahead - even though some fundamental ideas had to be postponed. Right now, we are fully focused on completing the tasks from the so-called "red priority".

And not sharing part of this list would be a real crime 😏, so here is a small description of what is already ready on the test servers and awaits you in the future:

Gear Score

Display of the Combat Power (Gear Score) of the character at the top of the interface next to your nickname. The more permanent stats your character has received, including from items, the higher the displayed GS will be (temporary buffs are not taken into account). Your GS is available for viewing by all players by clicking on your character and is also available in the "Gear Score" rating on the site. We believe this feature will make it easier to understand progress, add interest to character development, and also answer frequently asked questions like: "why am I weaker than my friend?"

Soul Stones

We have completely reworked the Soul Stones system and their upgrade. Now Soul Stones have 10 levels, and almost all the stones that you will receive in the game world will be stones from levels 1 to 5. Stones of level 5 will be the most valuable among those that can be "simply" received directly in the game, for example, as a reward, dropped from a boss or received from some random box. To get a stone higher than level 5, you need to Synthesize two identical stones of level 5. With a certain chance, you will get a stone of level 6 - and so on up to 10.

We also added a new engraving system: now each stone can be additionally endowed with a random bonus property.

But we did not stop there. Since stones can now be of great value, we added the ability to insert and remove them from items so that you can freely exchange them or sell them on the market.

GMFB & Resurrection Methods

The resurrection system has been reworked. Most of these changes will probably still concern PvP, and perhaps some of the avid fighters may not like the new system, due to the fact that many are used to endless and almost free resurrection with GMFB. But we sincerely do not understand how PvP can be interesting if battles turn into "3-hour" non-stop mindless resurrection without any significant loss of resources or real value in killing the enemy.

To make winning a fight actually meaningful, we've made it a bit harder to get GMFBs - now, in most cases, you'll only use them when it can be really strategically important to defeat your opponent. If your opponent uses GMFBs, you'll know: you win, and they lose resources.

There will also now be a short delay of a few seconds before using GMFBs - you won't be able to instantly resurrect like before. Also, the H button no longer works to refresh the resurrection window.

New ways to resurrect (besides GMFB):

1. Resurrection in the city - without losing Buffs, but with loss of experience if you died in PvP/PK.
2. The ability to Resurrection in the same place 60 seconds after death. Without losing Buffs, but with loss of experience if you died in PvP/PK.
3. Personal Buff for resurrection - 1 hour cooldown. Allows you to resurrect in the same place, while retaining experience.
4. Resurrection with the help of an ally - a resurrection skill. Without losing Buffs, but with partial or full restoration of experience.

Now as you understand, if you die in PvP you always lose some experience (depending on your level), experience in PvE is not lost. Experience can also not be lost if you have enough Lak to protect Exp. But even if you did not have enough Lak at the moment to protect exp, you can always return to the NPC later and restore all the lost experience for a certain amount of Lak. The more you have accumulated lost experience, the more you will have to pay to restore it. Lak can be exchanged for Arcane Coins and now the same thing is vice versa.

New PvP System

We have added a new status to the game - PvP mode.

We have also reworked the PK and morale system: Positive and Negative morale are now completely separated.

Positive morale is no longer used for PK. It can only be spent on exchanging boxes from the Altar.
Negative morale cannot be higher than 0 and now only displays your hooliganism status.

If you kill players in PK mode, you get a lot of negative morale, which can only be reduced with special and expensive resources. And if you are killed at this moment - you lose 10 times more experience than with a normal death in PvP. So PK can now be expensive.

But!

Now when you attack a player in PK mode and they attack you back, you both enter PvP status.
In this mode, you don't get negative morale for kills, and your character won't lose as much experience if they get killed. This allows for some fun open-world battles: for world bosses, for dungeon control, or even as part of a random brawl between guilds ⚔️.

New Title System

We have completely reworked the title system.

Now absolutely all titles that you open will give bonuses in the form of passive stats.

Now at the beginning of the game you will have only one slot available for equipping a title - Main Title. Slots for Sub Titles can be opened with a certain chance using a special item.
Sub Titles slots will have a chance to be unlocked using a special item.

Titles equipped in Main Title and Sub Titles provide 100% of their bonuses.
All other unlocked titles that are displayed in the right window provide 10% of their stats passively, even if you don't have them equipped.

For example: if a title gives +10 Vitality, you will receive +1 Vitality passively.

Also, all bonuses from titles are taken into account when calculating your Gear Score, so titles are not just cosmetics, but part of your character progression.

New Trading System

The function of registering personal trading shops is no longer available in the game. No more running around Murket in search of necessary items or researching prices, because now the Auction is a full-fledged trading platform where you can register both sales and purchases. The bidding function is no longer available.

If you've sold or bought a lot of items and their listing period has expired, you'll now be able to register all of those items again with a single button. This means you no longer have to manually add each item individually - although that's still possible.

📌 Please note: also, since personal trading shops no longer exist, there is no longer a need to launch a second game window. In this regard, we are limiting the launch of the game to one window, and now according to the rules of the project, each player is allowed to have only one personal account. All items can still be freely transferred between characters within the account through the Warehouse.

* Having and using more than one Account will result in a penalty (Server rules).

Excellent Shop - New Item Shop

A new Item Shop has been added to the game instead of the old NPC Freyra (the NPC has been removed from the game).
Now the main Shop with items for Rupees, Arcana and GP is directly accessible - by pressing the B key.

Also now some items in the Shop may have purchase restrictions:

for example, 1 time per character.
or up to 10 purchases per day.

And this is just a small part of what we have prepared for you in the new season. And, of course, if you don’t count the mountain of bugs that come with it - absolutely free 😄.

Let's sum it up

Season 4 was not easy. Almost like leveling up in an old hardcore MMO — long, difficult, but then you are proud of the final result 😊.
But we are not complaining — you are with us, you are waiting, and therefore, it was not in vain.

We understand that the wait has dragged on, bugs are winking from around the corner, and some features are still "on the way", but we are already at the finish line.
